A. Features
|
The equipment comprise two
heat conducting specimens, a multi-section bar for the
|
examination of linear conduction and a metal disc
for radial conduction. |
An electrical console provides
electrical power to heaters in the specimens and digital
|
read-out of the temperature at any one of the selected
points along the heat conducting paths.
|
Cooling
water from a laboratory tap provides a heat
sink to maintain a steady temperature gradient.
